System Error Message in Maple TA

Symptom: A student starts an assignment and then cannot go to some questions or cannot grade his homework. Moreover the student sees a page that says system error. Here is the solution. (This is in the FAQ more briefly.)
  1. Hit the back triangle to return to the normal Maple TA screen.
  2. Save and quit.
  3. Go to Practice Homework 0 and start it.
  4. Jump to Question 10.
  5. Change Entry Style to symbol mode (Directions are in the tutorial)
  6. Go to another question and back to make sure that this has been succeesful.
  7. Start the the assignment with the System Error. The student should be able to visit any question.
  8. The student needs to fix whatever was wrong with answers to any question which could not be visited, i.e., gave a system error. If this is not done the issue will reappear when the student switches to text mode or tries to grade the assignment.
