The First Oklahoma PDE Workshop

Introduction
The First Oklahoma PDE Workshop is the first of a series of workshops that will be held annually and rotationally at Oklahoma State University (OSU) and University of Oklahoma (OU). This workshop, hosted by OSU, is focused on PDEs modeling fluids and features some of the world's leading experts on this subject.

Joint, sectional, workshops and conferences
April 4-6 mathematics faculty and students from the two state area will gather for the 75th Meeting of the Oklahoma-Arkansas Section of the Mathematical Association of America. There will be lectures, student competitions, and workshops. Details about the meeting are available on this website and the section's website.
In June, the Department will host "Topology and Geometry in Dimension Three: Triangulations,
Invariants, and Geometric Structures", which is a conference in honor of William Jaco, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

Online Meeting Registration and Credit Card Payment
As an extra service OSU is offering online registration in addition to the email/mail registration that has been available in the past. The system, OSU Marketplace, is similar to many online purchasing sites in that it uses a shopping cart metaphor. The way choices are presented is slightly different than the paper/pdf form. If you decide to use the online registration, please read over the notes below before starting. The deadline for banquet and luncheon reservations has been extended until Monday, April 1 at 5 pm online and April 2 at noon by email.

The Team Competition will be held in the Case Study rooms on the fourth floor of the Student Union beginning at 6:00 pm on Thursday, April 4.
